Have you ever thought about how many decisions you make each day? So many things to think about and figure out. When my kids were younger, each decision was given so much energy. I collected information from multiple sources. I weighed the different options and asked people’s opinions. Every decision involved so much thinking. All that changed when I started using muscle testing.
What is Muscle Testing?
Muscle testing is a tool that allows you to determine the answer to a question through your body. It can be used to answer yes/no questions as well as to check the answers on a scale such as 0-10 or 0-100%. Muscle testing is not testing the actual strength of a muscle. Instead, you are tuning into something and checking whether that thing is in harmony or alignment with your being.
How to Muscle Test
One popular muscle test for beginners is called the “Sway Test.” Stand tall in an open space with plenty of room around you in all directions. Take a few deep breaths and center yourself over your feet, balancing evenly on the balls of your feet and your heels allowing your body to relax, but hold your feet firm on the ground or floor, really relaxing at the ankle.
With an attitude of curiosity, “I wonder what will happen?” say the word “yes” and wait for any body movement. Did your body start to lean or drift forward? Again, relax into whatever movement arises. Next, say the word “no”. Did you notice your body moving or swaying backwards?
Remember to relax and keep waiting to allow the body to show you the answer.
For additional practice, you can try other statements such as “unconditional love,” “kindness” or “war” and see what happens.
Daily Muscle Testing
Now, I use muscle testing every day, throughout the day. Recently, I was reading about eye health and what foods can provide the various nutrients. As a result, I opened my cabinet and started muscle testing which ones would be a benefit for me. I removed anything that tested negative or had expired. There was no thinking or analyzing or asking anyone what they thought about taking any of the vitamins or supplements. It was EASY. So easy.
Trouble Shooting
Initially, second guessing and thoughts about the outcome prevented me from testing accurately. When I first started using muscle testing for myself, I always doubted whether I was getting a true yes or no. A voice inside my head questioned whether this technique could really work. And most often when I muscle tested, I already thought one of the two outcomes was better.
Accurate muscle testing requires that you are asking the questions from a neutral place. Learning muscle testing also requires lots of practice. Over time you can improve and feel more confident. In addition, you can also learn to be open to whatever answer you get.
The Magic of Muscle Testing
Once I started using muscle testing, daily decisions became so much easier. Instead considering all aspects of every possibility, each decision became a simple “yes” or “no” question and then receiving the answer. This was a game changer for me!
Muscle testing allowed me to tune into the answer that is right for me and it can allow you to tune into your own answers too.
That’s the magic of using muscle testing for yourself. Things become so much simpler. You can rest in the knowing that the answer can come from within you. Your entire being can relax as you live this new way of being.
